Mommy, Ask Me a Question
Here's a conversation w/Benjamin this evening.
Sigh...my baby’s growing up!
B: "Mommy, you know how you used to ask me last year if I had a girlfriend?"
Me: "Yes."
B: "Well, you should ask me that again."
Me: "OK, so do you have a girlfriend?"
B: (eyes twinkling) "Yes."
Me: "What's her name?"
B: "Emily. I hope she's in my class in school this year AND in my B&A room after school." {pause} "Last year I loved someone, but then she moved."
Me: "Was that Lena?"
B: "Yes. Now it's Emily."
Sigh...my baby’s growing up!
