A Georgia Girl in Germany

When Nana and Papa flew over for their visit last month, they brought a special treat. Something that we can’t get here. Something we all find delicious. (Something that’s not very healthy for us.) Something for which we all stood in line next to Papa as he opened the box.

Yes, we rationed the donuts. Yes, we each savored every last bite. Yes, we eyed each others’ donuts on the off-chance someone didn’t want both of their allotted treats. Yes, we each ate every last crumb of our two allotted donuts.
