A Georgia Girl in Germany

MacKenzie had her Girl Scout Powder Puff Derby last weekend. She designed her car in the shape of three contemporary Girl Scout membership insignia -- don’t you think it turned out great looking!?!!

All the cars raced in three heats this year, each time in a different lane. Her car performed much better this year than last year -- finishing third, fourth and fifth in each of her heats. She would have liked to have won or placed, but left the race feeling better about her car’s performance than last year. However, we were both disappointed that they didn’t judge the cars for design like they have in the past. We both felt she would have won "Best Girl Scout Spirit."
