We Found a Turkey in the Commissary!
When we were in the commissary last week, Benjamin became very excited when he saw a group of hand-made turkeys on the wall. We looked a little more closely, and discovered that he had every right to be excited -- he made one of those turkeys!
I guess that means our little turkey found his turkey.
Additionally, his class learned today that they won the “turkey contest” at the commissary, and was awarded with a $150 gift certificate. Their teacher is working with the commissary to identify a family that could really use the gift certificate, so they can pass the certificate on in time for the holidays. What a perfect gift in time for the holidays!
