Down Time
The kids really enjoy having down time when we’re on the farm. MacKenzie asked Nana to bring her sewing machine so she could make a few quilts for her dolls. Of course, Nana obliged! MacKenzie’s good at piecing together strips to make quilts. She was so good that at times Nana couldn’t keep up with cutting the strips.
Zachary and Benjamin don’t really care about quilting, but were very thankful that my cousin Sam brought over his XBox for them to use to entertain themselves. Isn’t that what “down time” is all about?
