A Georgia Girl in Germany

MacKenzie was a little more hesitant about sledding last year than Zachary was...at least until she got the hang of it. Her take-offs were slow and deliberate, and she applied the brakes toward the bottom at a conservative distance. She even started most of her runs from the ledge/walkway in the middle of the hill instead of beginning at the top with twice the distance. Fortunately, she didn't have any tumbles, but then again, our little front-yard hill was fairly benign.

And every one of her runs resulted in a big grin and a run back up the steps for a repeat performance. She had great fun, and that's what it's all about.
