A Georgia Girl in Germany

MacKenzie’s class is saving plastic bottle caps to turn in for recycling, with a goal of turning in enough to a charity organization in France to purchase a wheelchair for a child who otherwise couldn’t afford one. She’s really taking this project to heart, and has gone dumpster diving on several occasions as part of her quest. One of her friends will even occasionally stop by in the evening so they can go dumpster diving together!

At least her heart’s in the right place...and what a grin she has when she proudly displays her loot! She doesn’t even complain too much when I remind her to wash up really well afterward!
