A Georgia Girl in Germany

MacKenzie has a knack for finding out-of-the-way spots to do her homework ... she says doing so helps her concentrate. Her most recent such spot is behind the Christmas tree. Yup, behind the tree. She doesn’t look thrilled that I found her with camera in-hand, though.

Benjamin even hid back there a few times to do his homework. I think he did it simply for the novelty of it, although he too didn’t appreciate that I took his photo.

If it helps them get their homework done without my persistent reminders, maybe I should keep the tree up all year {{not}}.
