A Georgia Girl in Germany

Benjamin was trying to get my attention this evening for something, and called out "Mommy," to which I replied, "Yes, Dear." He looked at me and quickly corrected me by saying, "Me no your dear; me your Ben-sha-min. Santa have dear on his sleigh."

He is correct...Santa does have reindeer.

I called him "dear" once more to see his reaction, and he repeated his proclamation about him being my Ben-sha-min instead of being my dear. Too cute! He's got it all figured out!
