A Georgia Girl in Germany

MacKenzie’s time as a Brownie Girl Scout is starting to wind down. One of the requirements to bridge up to Juniors is to learn about that level of scouting and participate in an activity with other Junior Girl Scouts. When one of the Junior troops offered “Brownie Boot Camp” for 3rd grade Brownies, MacKenzie jumped at the opportunity to attend. She really enjoyed that it was a sleepover and that she earned her first Junior badge.

The following morning, everyone participated in the bridging ceremony and was recognized for taking this next step in Girl Scouts. MacKenzie’s still finishing up her final few weeks as a Brownie and will officially “fly up” to Juniors next month, but she’s definitely ready!
