Gradual update #28 -- Long Lost Friends
MacKenzie was excited when we first found out that we were moving to Germany since we would be close to her best friend from Kindergarten, Shay. Shay’s dad is stationed in Belgium and he had to come to Stuttgart TDY back in February, so that made a perfect opportunity for MacKenzie and Shay to get together.
The girls spent the afternoon together, went to Baskin-Robbins for treats, and Shay even spent the night with us. They played games all evening and had tons of fun. It was like they hadn’t been apart for a year-and-a-half. One of these days we need to head to Belgium to visit Shay there before they leave.
